The “Entreprendre sans frontières” (ESF) project aims to develop a modular training program on entrepreneurship for VET trainers, enabling them to innovate learning methods by focusing on learning by doing and assessment of acquired skills. The new skills will be valued through an ECVET equivalent certificate.

The project proposes that trainers draw on concepts from business accelerators and temporary residencies that have proven successful in the business world and adapt them to vocational training to create flexible and learner-centered pathways. This will directly contribute to improving the quality of education and vocational training.

The ESF project aims to promote entrepreneurship education in VET training to prepare learners to succeed in a constantly changing world, where innovation, creativity and adaptability are increasingly valued.

• Develop entrepreneurial, active learning, experiential learning and assessment skills of VET trainers by offering a modular online training programme. This will support their professional development, while promoting the recognition of prior learning.
• Improve the accessibility and inclusiveness of VET entrepreneurship training by promoting experiential learning in a virtual environment and strengthening collaboration with stakeholders from the world of work. This will be achieved through the development of a virtual space—an “Entrepreneurship Residence”—where learners engage in hands-on training alongside peers from diverse backgrounds. The Entrepreneurship Residence will also offer opportunities for mentoring and support from experts and stakeholders within the entrepreneurial and educational ecosystems.
• Enable disadvantaged learners to learn more effectively and playfully using immersive technologies, personalized learning paths and impact measurement tools.
• Innovate entrepreneurship training programs by adapting concepts of business accelerators and temporary residencies to VET training. The aim is to bring training programs closer to the current and future needs of the economy and society,by proposing innovative pedagogical approaches and adapting proven concepts on the economic market.
• Equip VET trainers with active pedagogy and assessment tools and techniques by adapting new concepts to boost entrepreneurship (temporary business residency, business accelerators).
